So near and yet so far - the 2015 pedestrian/cycle bridge over the railway into Nottingham (Midland) is just a metre from offering step-free access between Trent Lane and the Sneinton Greenway (former trackbed of train line to Nottingham London Road High Level). If you're able to, dismounting here to head south is quicker than going over the Trent Lane bridge, down the ramp, under the former railway bridge and up the new railway bridge... (or if you're heading from the city just stay on N14).
