No Parking for Cyclists sign - what I think it means is no parking of cars used to bring bikes to Rutland Water.

Cycle parking at the Rutland Water Nature Reserve visitor centre - installed so that only one side is useable (because of course leaving space for motor vehicles is more important)

Rather useless unpaved cycle track which takes you halfway to Egleton then dumps you on the (quiet) parallel road anyway.

Cut-through in Oakham

Oakham Cycle Centre (entrance at rear)

Covered wheel benders from yesteryear at Oakham railway station.

A lovely cycle track from Ryhall towards Stamford. Which stops dead at the county boundary, a significant way short of the 30mph limit and with no safe way to cross the road - well done Rutland, shame on Lincolshire!

The Rutland Water recreational cycle route is mainly off road and is an excellent well marked circular route.

Just two bike stands at Rutland Water Sports Centre - probably intended for staff use

Cyclists (in distance) on tracks around Rutland Water - very busy on a sunny Saturday.

NCN route 63 leaving Oakham to the west - almost the only signage (and none at the station).
